Bio

My name is John McLaughlin. I am the co-founder of BayCon along with Randall Cooper. BayCon begat SiliCon and AnimeCon and their descendants. I no longer chair conventions, because the people working on them now are often half my age, and I'd really rather not come off at con meetings looking and sounding like somebody's dad. I live in San Francisco with my wife Brin-Marie, and a comprehensive fanzine and program book collection which encompasses over forty years, and is the featured attraction in our Closet of Doom.
